Musideum

Matt Dusk, Adrean Farrugia and Brad Goode at Musideum

I discovered Musideum a couple of years ago. Both the venue, and its creator, Donald Quan, impressed me so much that I had to write a separate piece about them.
You'll find the article on The Jazz Brat Blog page, or click here

The perfect word to sum up Musideum is INTIMATE. Small in size, yet filled to the rafters with incredible acoustics, instruments, energy, ambiance and a palpable love of music. Musideum is not a restaurant, bar or club. It is its own wonderfully unique beast! By day Musideum is a gorgeous store selling world instruments and offering recording and other services to musicians. By evening it transforms to an event space for musicians and artists to showcase their talents. The events are held practically every night of the week at Musideum and are always of exceptional caliber. Donald is particularly adept at attracting and showcasing acts that you won't find anywhere else. Multimedia, Jazz, World, Celtic, Indian, Experimental, Pop, Blues, ANYTHING you could hope for, you'll find here. With an audience maximum at 12-40ish people, depending on stage and seating arrangement, you are guaranteed a connection with the artists you will find NO WHERE else, and an unrivaled concert experience. Make a point of adding Musideum to your bucket list (but believe me, go once and you'll be hooked!)
